A Tribute to Mr John Campbell

    Dear Mr Campbell,

Words cannot express how greatful and thankful we are, for how you have been a great Friend, Mate, and Year Advisor over the past 6 years. Over these years, you have given us so much wonderful advice, friendship, humour, joy, and love that has been both valueable and necessary in our development from young teenagers to adults.

Many of us still remember the very first speech you gave us on our first day in year 7. From that moment, we knew that you were much more than just an average teacher. You were someone who truly cared for each and everyone of us, and you went about giving your care in your own very unique way.

In our developments from years 7 to 9, you were always someone who could be trusted for advice, help, and friendship. You shone the torch in the dark, gave us direction, and acted as a fatherly figure who would guide us through these tough years.

In years 10 to 12, our year started bonding together into such a special way it is today. The only way this could and would have happened is through the freedom, care, and faith you gave us during these special years. You let us run the show, and created a sense of true trust in our year that kept us as one single united group.

Now matured, you were here yet again to keep our heads well above the water. In these wonderful years, you gave us the support that further developed us into the responsible adults we are today (...well most of us anyway).

Finally, on the last day of our schooling career, you truly proved you were a legend, by being one greatest champion. Thanks for the great speech that made us all cry, and thanks for turning up at our end of year party. When you arrived you were mobbed by us all like a rock star, and we hope you never forget the moment because you truly and always deserve the love.

    Thankyou Mr Campbell,
