Win an iPod Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition is a game of skill, and entry is open to all 2008 Year 12 school and college students in all states and territories of Australia.
  2. Entries received by those not a student in Year 12 in 2008 will be automatically disqualified.
  3. The promoter of this competition is Rockstar Group Pty Ltd - Studio 201, 247 Pacific Highway North Sydney NSW 2060. Phone: 1300 782 901.
  4. The competition begins at 12:00am March 1, 2008, and concludes at 11:59pm August 29, 2008 - Australian Eastern Time. Entries received outside of this period will be automatically disqualified.
  5. Three major prizes will be awarded to three separate winners. Entries will be judged by their creative merits as determined by staff at Rockstar Group.
  6. Judging results will be announced on September 5, 2008 and published at rockstarmemoirs.com
  7. Judges' results are final.
  8. Each individual person can only enter once. In the event that a winning entrant has entered more than once, their winning entry will be disqualified if it is not the very first entry they have submitted to the competition.
  9. Each grand prize consists of an Apple iPod nano, each valued at $199RRP.
  10. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other considerations.
  11. Winners will be contacted and asked to provide proof of being a Year 12 student in 2008. A variety of methods will be available to provide this verification including but not limited to calling the school's telephone number.
  12. If a winner cannot provide sufficient and appropriate proof of being a Year 12 student in 2008, their entry will be deemed invalid, and the next best creative entrant will be awarded as a winner.
  13. If the winner is a minor and under eighteen years of age, the prize will be officially awarded to the minor's nominated parent or legal guardian.
  14. If the major prize is no longer available at the time of judging, an equivalent valued prize will be awarded as a substitute prize.
  15. Prizes will be couried to the winners at their nominated address provided at the time of Year 12 student verification. Transport of the grand prize is subject to standard carrier terms and conditions.

  1. By submitting their response to the nominated question, entrants of the Win an iPod Competition agree to submit their personal details provided into a computer database.
  2. The database will only accessible by staff at Rockstar Group Pty Ltd. It will be used for the sole purpose of conducting marketing activity for Year 12 Yearbooks in 2008.
  3. Your personal details will never be passed onto other organisations under any circumstances.
  4. The National Privacy Principals contained in the Australian Privacy Act 1988 apply regarding collection of your information in this competition.
